The Pleasure of Reading....

Reading empowers the reader with all kinds of information and facts. It enlightens, enriches and educates. And also, it gives everyone enjoyment which lasts a lifetime. Nothing in this world can give us more satisfaction than reading. Books must be one's best friends. That should be taught right from one's childhood. A common saying, which I would like to share with you is that the journey of a lifetime starts with the turning of a page. It is a form of entertainment that does not have any side effects. But now a days, instead of reading books and refreshing our minds this generation is immersed in Facebook and other media.  The second main reason, why reading books is important is that it broadens one's outlook an enlightens mind. While reading books we lose ourselves in them and also, we find ourselves there. Every form of literature sometimes reflect our ideologies and belief. In fact, life is impossible without reading. Books are the destination and the journe...

The Mystic Beauty behind The Poem

Poetry is not mere steps of words, it is an art to be explored. To me, poetry is something beyond my fallacious imagination. What is poetry? I don 't know for sure, lest it may be a superb masterpiece of some great poet. It reminds me of Kahlil Gibran, whom I admire the most,  "Be silent my heart, for the space cannot Hear you;  be silent for the ether is  Laden with cries and moans, and cannot  Carry your songs and hymns. " (Gibran)  Every line carries the authority and authenticity of a master. 'The Prophet' is his most powerful and mystical work. I am not sure, that will I ever grab it' s essence to my heart' s content.  Command over the words is not an easy task. It is of course a big hurdle in my way to my perfection of linguistic beauty. Often I concentrate on his (Gibran) lyrical outpourings, wondered where has it all come from. I might be answered to it, on my thirsty paradise for knowledge.  Post By  Neetha Maria Bobb...

A Birthday Wish......

That was an eerie night. A night that marked the beginning of another bright day. We were alone in that turning point.. Not knowing what to do.. where to go... We all were strangers to each other...   Unexpectedly, that happened.. A ray of light came in diminishing the darkness of night. "WELCOME TO B2". The voice lead us to a new world. And we saw her.. We believed that it was an angel who's going to guide us... That was our one and only, dear and dearest.. Jessy miss, our class teacher.   For two years she had to suffer everything done by each of us. Teacher, we know.. it wasn't an easy task. We are thanking you for your dedication on your birthday. Also, we are thanking God for this day. Or we would have lost the love, affection, scoldings, comments and corrections from you. You always stood for us, talked for us and together we created many memorable moments...   " HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSY MISS, OUR QUEEN ".   We love you with all our hearts. Yo...

Why you don't want to speak out....????  The examination is over....and you have more free time.... I am still waiting for your inspiring and motivational sparks of thought....

Silence....Poem by Amitha Anikuttan

Silence isn't silent  It's the saviour of voice  That erases the noise  Never think of it as emptiness  It's the process of enriching  Leading to the holy fullness  You can not find inactivity  As it's the source of activity  Within the envelope of wisdom  Listen a while..  You could hear the clanger  Like the red hot iron  The thoughts getting moulded  Behind the walls of silence The echoing footsteps  The ticking needles  The falling raindrops  The sigh of relief  All are well carved  In the depths of silence  Silence embraces loneliness  It hacks the mind  Prickles the memories  Both lovely and awful  With its sharp finger nails  As a mirror it lurks..   Try a shake hand with it,   Then.. Silently...   You will begin to love your life.. By Amitha Anikkuttan, XII B

The Corona Effect... Post by Nivya Sajan

It's been a month since we've all been on lock down. Now, the word 'positive' has begun to frighten us daily. But, this lock down due to Covid-19 has freed one from years of lock down..... Our mother nature! Now, it's getting healed from every sorts of pollution and being greener. Even our blog too is shining in a new greenish appearance! So, let me write about the greenish impact..... The Corona effect....... Now, environment is so busy; busy in reclaiming it's beauty which was lost due to man's evil deeds. The rivers, air, soil...... everything is in a purification process.   The satellite footages by NASA revealed a drastic decline in Nitrogen dioxide(NO2) emissions in China and Italy, since human hunkered down indoors!  Air pollution in New Delhi, one of the most air polluted cities in the world, dropped by 60% within just a few days since the beginning of the lock dow...

I am lost... Post by Neetha Bobby

I AM LOST ...  My mind is startled. I am about to cry. I want to freak out. But what is happening to me. I don’t know. My head is not clear. I don’t feel the touch, with anything, not with my host, his blood or even my life. I feel so lost. What should I hold on to?  How many did I kill? I don’t even know. I let everyone suffer. The pain I have brought to human kind is certainly not justifiable.... I do understand.  But what the hell are you people doing to me?  A meaner activity, than I did. I prefer death, humanity..... Mmh! Am I a bit dramatic?....  The dying creep is me myself. The so called COVID-19 or the Corona Virus. Hey there everybody! I know I am very popular. What should I say? My dear people, I am here to say my worries with you(the intelligent and mature you). I know, I create all the dirty stuff, man! Its what I am supposed to do. OK! It doesn’t really mean that you have to kill me for that. You human the so called ‘the crest of cr...
