Life... Post by Gayathridevi M

Life is a journey. It has its own obstacles and problems. It is not like a crystal stair. In this journey we come across a lot of memories. When we look at our life,we can see a blank page and when we look back we get a series of memories. Sometimes these memories come to our life to make our eyes wet. It may be the tears of sorrows or it may be the tears of joy. Actually these memories lead us to continue the journey of our life. If you are nervous about something, then close your eyes and fill the mind with beautiful memories. If you feel loneliness, then close your eyes and recollect the past memories. The memories, the love and affection of our parents, friendly moments with our teachers, leisure time with our friends, journeys with our family, our foolishness etc....help us to forget our sorrows. Life is too short. We can't predict it's future and never get back the gone days. So try to be happy at all time. Hide your tears from others make a smile on your...

Hasan, an exemplary character... post by Gayathridevi M, XI B

Hassan, the finest man with unconditional love and sacrifice, is one of the vibrant characters from the mind of a great writer, A J Cronin. Hassan is a very ugly, native sea man with short legs and disproportionate head. He is an Indian Serang and he superintends the crew of lascars. Sometimes he becomes the butt of other's ridicule. But he does not react against this. He keeps his silence and patience at all time. He is a balanced man in his life. Neither ridicules nor cyclones can change his character. He is rock solid and fit as a fiddle. At the time of the spreading of the contagion, Hassan stands with Cronin to counter it. He spent his whole life to actively render selfless service. He has long forty years of experience in the sea including last fifteen years in the same ship, Ranaganji. He has nothing on the shore, neither kith nor kin. He has no greed towards money, fame, ego and selfishness. No possessions have any room in his mind.  He tries to insulate...

New Year Message by Natasha Sebastian, XI B

" Tomorrow is the first blank page of a 365 page book. Write a good one". This is a statement by Brad Paisley, the famous American musician about the new year. It is our way of thoughts and actions that fill the first page . If we want to get an impression on the beginning, we have to struggle a lot. Because first impression is the best impression. There may be many incidents that presented you a lot of sorrows, joy, winnings, failure etc. Remember, this is part and parcel of the life given by Almighty. Consider them as the stepping stones to an ecstatic day. Today is the only day alive. Yesterday is gone. So we have to adorn today that is very much in front of us. A lot can happen in a year. We can't predict it. But we can strive for better results. Be grateful, helpful and kind to all manhood, other organisms and nature. May the new year bring you stupendous memories and success. Wishing you all a frabjous New year..! Natasha Sebastian, XI B
